Kim Shepherd – Solicitor
Kim graduated from Charles Darwin University in June 2017 with a Bachelor of Laws and Legal Practice and was admitted in the Supreme Court of New South Wales as a Solicitor in that same month. She was then admitted in the Supreme Court of South Australia as a solicitor in August 2017.
As a volunteer with a highly experienced and respected group of Barristers for the last 4 years, Kim has firsthand experience in how the Courts deal with criminal cases, giving her invaluable knowledge that is a great advantage to her criminal law clients. As well as criminal law, Kim also has experience with Wills, Powers of Attorney and Advanced Care Directives, Family Law, Contracts, Commercial Law and Personal Injury Law.
Kim holds a Bachelor of Commerce, which allows her to appreciate the needs of businesses, from accounting and statistics to marketing strategies and solvency. These skills are particularly useful in situations where a business forms part of an asset pool in family law and deceased estates. She has also lived in the country for the last 17 years and understands the unique needs of rural and regional clients.
With a friendly and approachable manner, Kim can assist people from all walks of life. She is direct and honest and strives for the best outcome for her clients.
